A manuscript exists within in the Puddleby libraries. This manuscript is of uncertain origin, however, it claims to be one of the only existing translations of a far older document. The genesis of this older work is attributed to the Sylvan race.
The subject matter of the document may be said to be religious in nature. It examines the various races which walk the Earth and names them in order. However, unlike more contemporary works, it names several other older groups, including the Xi and the Nx. The document attempts to explain much of the workings of the world we live in. Events such as the Ripture War and the various "Forgettings" are touched upon within it.
The document may be said to be a scholarly work, however, the staff of the Puddleopedia cannot ascribe any creditability to its origin, we can do no more than offer it for your assessment.
